§ 5 Cookies, plug-ins, web tracking

We do not use cookies or third-party plug-ins on our website. Matomo is used as a web tracking tool.

Webtracking with Matomo
This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses technologies that allow the cross-page recognition of site visitors to analyze user behavior. All information collected by Matomo is stored on our server. Before storage, the IP address is anonymized.

Matomo helps us to collect valuable data about the use of our website visitors and thus to analyze user behavior. For example, we can find out which page views were made, at what time, but also from which region calls came. In addition, various log files are collected (e.g. IP address, operating systems, browsers used and referrers) in order to evaluate whether and what actions were performed on our website (such as clicks).

The use of the web tracking tool Matomo is based on Article 6 - paragraph 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its web offering and its advertising.

IP anonymization

For web tracking with Matomo, IP anonymization is used. In this process, the IP address of the website visitor is shortened before the analysis begins. Thus, the IP is no longer clearly assignable.

Hosting

Matomo is hosted exclusively on our own server, so that the complete analysis data remains with us and is not passed on.

§ 6 Revocation against the processing of your data

If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you may revoke it at any time. Such revocation affects the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to us.
You can inform us of your objection using the following contact details: Chroma Experience GmbH, Ringstraße 8, 24114 Kiel, [email protected], see also under Imprint.

§ 7 Data security

Within the website visit, we use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is encrypted by the closed key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

§ 8 Up-to-dateness and amendment of this data protection declaration

This data protection declaration is currently valid and has the status January 2021. Due to the further development of our website and offers on it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this data protection declaration.
